Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group’s Lake Forest office is mentioned in Forest & Bluff Magazine!  Chris Eigel, chief operating officer, and Mark Pasquesi, vice president and managing broker, are both quoted in the article, detailing the merger of the Prudential Rubloff and Koenig & Strey Lake Forest offices.  The article also points out how the BHHS brand is associated with trustworthiness and professionalism.  Mark is quoted saying, “Berkshire Hathaway has always been associated with financial strength and trust, and I think those are the qualities that buyers and sellers look for.” This is great exposure for our company! Two Magnificent Companies Become One!

Last night, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty group gathered inside Navy Pier’s Grand Ballroom for a spectacular awards ceremony and brand launch. The awards honored the 2013 achievements of brokers from the two, now merged organizations. Nancy Nagy, Michael Pierson and Chris Eigel were joined by Ron Peltier, Chairman and CEO of HomeServices of America and Stephen Phillips, Chief Operating Officer of HSF Affiliates.

The ceremony was followed by cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The presentation and festivities have been captured in some great photos. To view the album, please click here. April is almost here and the excitement throughout our organization is palpable! Behind the scenes our Michigan Avenue and Northbrook Home Office teams are working furiously toward our April launch date.

Let us share some of the latest accomplishments with you:

▪ A beautiful new series of branding ads has been created. Look for ecards to be available very soon.

▪ Our Harbor Country Office has moved into its beautiful new location in the heart of downtown New Buffalo.

▪ Business card proofs have been sent to each office to ensure that all contact information is correct.

▪ Our sign installation company has started to change the black Prudential Rubloff sign posts to white posts in order to make panel conversion a quick operation.

▪ Brochures, HotSheets, and Open House directories have been designed. Stay tuned for exciting news about these hands-free, company-wide programs.

Please begin gathering your open house tent signs for the tent sign swap that will take place next week! Look for more details from your office in the coming days!

Conversion Updates!

Dear Agents, Employees and Leadership Team,

The temperature may not feel like spring yet, but the new listing activity and open houses are heating up.  We’re thrilled to be getting ready to introduce our new brand as the market is growing.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. named by BusinessVibes as one of the top 10 companies doing it right.  So, it’s no surprise that the network is growing so quickly. We warmly welcome Prudential Serls Prime Properties in Poughkeepsie, NY, to the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices family.

KEY CONVERSION ACTIVITIES:

*         Business card information has been collected, and by the end of the week, we’ll start processing proofs.  In the next five weeks, we’ll print nearly 1 MILLION business cards.

*         Design work for the updated home page of the KoenigRubloff website has begun. and we’re looking forward to a stunning online representation of the brand that will help drive new business.

*         Our conversion team is headed to BHHS HQ in Irvine, California for two days of intensive training with experts on the new tools and programs that we’ll be rolling out next month.

*         Folders, notecards and stationery are headed for the printer and will be rolling off press very soon.

GET READY:

Here are some things you can do right now:

*         Make plans to join us for information about The KoenigRubloff Advantage program that offers insurance and financial planning options for our agents.  Sessions are being held March 4 & 5 at DePaul, National Louis University in Skokie, and IIT in Wheaton.

*         Take a count of the open house tent signs that you may have stored at home. We’ll be asking for that information as we get ready for our junk/swap days next month.

*         The new look for Fort Dearborn Title and Fort Dearborn Insurance is complete. We’ll have new brochures and flyers to support these great services in your offices in the next month.

*         Our presentation materials are starting to take shape, and we’re looking forward to bringing you gorgeous new pieces to tell the KoenigRubloff story to your clients.

*         We’ve announced the merger of our two terrific offices in Lake Forest, giving our agents the benefit of a larger combined group of talented brokers and an expanded inventory of listings.

KEY CONVERSION ACTIVITIES:

*         The Marketing & Conversion Team took a deep dive into some of the powerful new buyer and seller tools being offered through Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, and we’ve started working on roll-out training.

*         We’ve enhanced our social media presence; check out KoenigRubloff on Google+, PinterestLinkedIn, and Facebook.

*         The Berkshire Hathaway national luxury council has been formed and as a thought-leader among the national companies, KoenigRubloff will have a seat on this influential panel, ensuring our agents get maximum benefit from the luxury resources of our national network.

*         The yard sign panels are starting to roll off the assembly line, and we’re looking at some unique solutions for our SOLD signs to make our successful sales stand out from the crowd.

*         We’re making plans for ribbon cutting events in each of our offices during the first week of April, look for more details from your branch manager next month.

The beginning of 2014 is the start of one magnificent year for our company.  The market is showing many positive signs for continued growth this year and in the long-term, and we are preparing to change the real estate game in the Chicago area.

The BHHS presence throughout the country is growing each week. We welcome Prudential Southeast Coast Properties in Savannah, Georgia, as the newest company to join BHHS.

KEY CONVERSION MILESTONES:

·         Our architectural sign vendor has completed a survey of the exterior signs on our offices and will begin drawing up plans for the new BHHS signs on our offices.

·         Look for a new email signature option that showcases the BHHS KoenigRubloff logo in the next few weeks. You’ll want to start making clients aware of our impressive new name.

·         We’ve made great progress behind the scenes to add our company to the BHHS national website, which will help us reach even more potential buyers and sellers.

·         We have announced that we will strengthen our presence in Evanston and Winnetka by bringing together the Prudential Rubloff and Koenig & Strey agents in those cities.

GET READY:

We’re adding a new section to the Countdown to Conversion update, detailing how you can get ready for the brand launch in Spring.  Here are some things you can do right now:

·         Mark your calendars and make plans to attend our regional sales meetings January 21 – Western Suburban Offices, January 22 – North Suburban Offices, and January 23 – City Offices.

·         Organize your contact list. You’re going to want to share the great news with your sphere, and this is the time to get ready.  If you don’t use a CRM system, an Excel spreadsheet is a great first step.
